Here's the information:
Size: 2700sqf with raised, unfinished basement; 2 storeys; house plan will be purchased online and modified to adhere to Canadian requirements.
Exterior: Brick, lots of windows whenever possible; 3-car garage (side of house with possibility to increase). Being modern, shape of house will not be "estate-like" shape.
Interior: 4-bedrooms (average size 12'x12') up stairs; use BASIC interior materials -nothing fancy. 9-feet ceiling in main floor, 8' in 2nd and basement floors.
House will require septic system, drilled well, propane heating -typical of country living requirements.
Summary: the house will be similar to a typical 2500-2800 sqf found in new GTA sub-division. Nothing fancy.
However, the timeline is important. Projects should preferably end before December, 2011. Perhaps, a prefab home could be an option.
